While it's not very metal in nature - I am really appreciating the effort that Alan Parsons and his team have put into the ever expanding series of videos entitled "Art & Science of Sound Recording". They are currently being released as groups of six videos at a time, but will eventually be available as a boxed set of DVDs - however, the individual videos have been fantastic and informative even if you already have a pretty firm grasp on this stuff.

The topics covered so far contain:

* Recording a Choir
* EQ
* Delays
* Drums Scene
* MIDI Scene
* Noise Gates Scene
* Studio Acoustics
* Digital Audio and Computers
* Monitoring
* Microphones
* Keyboards
* Bass
