lol, So while my Dual Recs down I figured I'd experiment with some shit. I totally forgot about this little Gorilla amp (TC-35) I had in the closet. I've had it for like 15 years but haven't messed with it in about 8 years. Anyway, I figured I'd mic it up and try some riffs to see how it sounded. Ignore the repetitive drum beat as I was only testing the amp. Needless to say, I was quiet surprised by the monstrous sound coming from a little 35 watt amp...especially when I thought the 8" speaker was pretty much shit....This is the perfect little practice amp and you can get some great sounds out it. I spent maybe 2 mins putting the mic up to it. The chains:

A Washburn x50 pro emg -> Gorilla amp
Sm57-> Demeter pre-amp-> interface

I just thought it was funny and thought I'd share. :headbang:

Yea, It's not the best in the world but just tripped me out. I think there's way too much crunch on it and not enough separation between the guitars, but oh well, it was a quick run and I couldn't wait to hear it in a mix lol!

Man I have the bass amp version of that amp. It's such shit. :lol:

Sounds alright though man haha. Gotta get by with something.
