With my $100 gift certificate, sweet! Now I just need to learn how to mix proper.

I just couldn't pass it up based on the reviews and the fact that I got the $100 off.

Woot!

:Smokin:

Not really features at such, just the EQ's and compressor on the URS are pretty different to the metric halo. URS usually finds its way on to guitars and vocals for me over the mh, but really depends what I'm looking for.....

I also prefer the URS for mix bus

Ah, gotcha...thanks.

I'm still getting my feet wet with full mixes, so I hope to be comfortable will MH eventually.

Well, I don't mean the operation to be complicated, I just mean becoming comfortable with EQing a real mix and such. I want to be able to pick out the necessary frequencies that need alterations rather than "guessing", ya know?

Excuse me for the n00b question, but what does a channel strip do? It looks to me like it's just a compressor, EQ and stuff all in one??
