Yeah so I saw Siouxsie in concert this week and it was fucking amazing. Also I've been listening to Front Line Assembly a whole god damn lot over the past two weeks. Epitaph and Implode rule my face.
I listened to this for the first time ever yesterday. Could never stand this band really, the vocals always just killed any appeal the music ever gave me. But, I decided to leave my comfort zone for a bit, just for kicks. I mean hey, I'm a big Siouxsie fan, really do like half of what Bauhaus did, and Sisters of Mercy has helped me trick my wife into fornication many times, so I said why not? After a few tracks, and referring to their frontperson as "a male lesbian without any sex appeal," I got used to said vocals, and started to quite get into this depressed little chunk of American History. And by the end I was pretty impressed. I'm not sure that I'll buy a proper copy, or even listen to them ever again, but for just one day on October 31st, 2014, it was the right decision to truly, finally, enjoy some Christian Death.
