Graphic cards...

Upgrading my graphic card shortly. What is the "best" and what is the "best value" cards out there. Min of 256mb? Or.. Primarily being used for Half Life 2 and such craving games... Thinking of an ATI Radeon 9600XT.

Get the Sapphire 9800Pro, should be around 180 Euros. Ive heard they sell it with 256Mb for around 200 but havent found an offer yet.

Why? The card I mentioned is 256 mb. What would I gain by buying a Sapphire card? Any comments are appriciated!

ive heard that the nvida geforce 6800 ultra is the or one of the best out right now
apparently doom 3 can run on its ultra high setting on this card so it should do fine for half life but the price tag is around 250
