thanks to all the neverheads that we met at Graspop!, the stage sound was complete shit, but we had a great time anyway.... hope you all liked the new songs!....

Warrel needs the name WD back. It's too easy for someone to pop in and impersonate Warrel. :-/

I'm back in Italy now, can't actually believe I was there...I think my vocal cords can't either, they're still on Graspop ground along with my banging head, moshing on grass and plastic cups!! :hotjump:
Amazing show, loved the new songs, especially This Godless Endeavor...can't wait to see you guys again and again and again!!
btw, what did Warrel say at the end? it sounded like "Death to Noumenon", but I could have misheard..

Yeah I was there. The last time I saw u (Tilburg, Holland, 2003) the sound wasn't to great either. I think they played:

-Narcosyntesis
-Born
-This Sacrament
-The River dragon has come
-The Heart collector
-Final Product
-Never Purify
-The Fault of Flesh
-The Sound of Silence (please, no more)
-This Godless Endeavor (omg that ruled!)

Great show from my #1 band. Since I left to late @ Soad, i missed the first song. I sure hope I didn't miss Eor!
Hope next time i will see u perform the sound is better, cause u deserve much, much better.

looks like a good setlist... but i feel its time to retire Narcosynthesis and Sound of Silence and dedicate that time to something from In Memory, Nevermore, or something else from PoE or DNB

TGE: 3
EoR: 2 (not doubting you opened with Enemies)
DHIADW: 4
DNB: 1
POE: 1
IM: 0
N: 0

at least kill 2 Dead Heart songs throw in one from IM and one from Nevermore to kinda balance it out a little... buuuuut i'm not complaining, as you did away with a bunch of Dead Heart songs already and replaced them with better :D

Damn i couldn't agree more. I really hoped for Lost, 7 thongues, Poison Godmachine, Matricide etc. etc. Dead Heart is my least fav. album so I was kinda dissapointed that they played so much of it. And I hate covers, Sound of Silence is no exception. Born and Final product were fucking awesome :worship: . Can't wait for the new album!

Got it in the car stereo all this week. Strong songs that stand out are RIVER DRAGON, AND DEAD HEART, AND MY FAVOURITE believe in NOTHING.

lADS GOT TO TELL YO, that new SFU CD...is kicking me in the head, they sound like machines they are so tight.
Now to pull some cones, until then.

..................anyways.....
I somewhat tend to agree with Will.. although... Narcosynthesis and Sound of Silence
are strong good songs that are GREAT when played live...
with that being said.. I do think that a little variety in the set list is well encouraged.

I'm down with all the DHIADW stuff, because I love that album, except not a huge fan of Sound of Silence. And I would have multiple eargasms if they did In Memory (probably my fav song, though some TGE tracks might challenge that). But...what I would REALLY like to hear them do live in the near future is Sentient 6. Not that I've heard it or anything, but if I had heard it I would probably say that it rules all, and if they played it live it would own everyone remotely within earshot.
