Great news!!

Brooks story is awesome!
Especially the part about the "damn hippie liberals with too much time on their hands" haha!

Fuck Starbucks. They make shitty coffee and take over all those cool independent espresso bars all over this country, and turn them into personality-free places...

Ugh, I was watching the news last night and they were interviewing people about these starbucks and this girl was like "IT ISN'T JUST A STARBUCKS, IT IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, PEOPLE COME HERE TO HAVE MEETINGS AND USE THE WIFI NOT JUST DRINK COFFEE"

what?!

e "IT ISN'T JUST A STARBUCKS, IT IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, PEOPLE COME HERE TO HAVE MEETINGS AND USE THE WIFI NOT JUST DRINK COFFEE"

Yeah, I like doing that in this near-hidden little independent place, with excellent tea/coffee/food, free wi-fi, nice soundtrack, sound staff and a noticeable, bitty odd penchant for coastal pics and design.

I have beef with them for knocking my fav local coffee place out of business. It had a much nicer atmosphere, the coffee was WAY better, it had great food, and a good cigar shop. Now it's no more because of Starbucks with their plastic, yuppie atmosphere and burnt beans.

People on the news are always RETARDED!!!
I have never seen anyone being interviewed on the news with something smart
to say or with teeth

Well here's your chance, entrepreneurs... Lease out those old Starbucks buildings, create a cool local INDEPENDENT coffee shop, sell good coffee, decorate it nicely with work by local artists, make it cozy, free wi-fi, and create a COMMUNITY out of the ashes of the burnt corporate corpse!

Do it!

That's a dumb idea, I'll just relocate to the starbucks that didn't close down across the street from the old one.
