'Dispossession' and 'Right into the Bliss' have two of my favorite openings, definitely. 'Right into the Bliss' is just so awesome in how it seems to 'lift' the album up after the drear that is 'This Punishment', yet it's not happy, somehow. It's hopeful in a rather sad way, like, perhaps, knowing what hope feels like for one last time. (I'm thinking in the context of the rest of the album, since it just plunges in mood after this song.)

And 'Dispossession' just... damn. It just sucks you into sorrow.

I've always really liked how '12' builds up into the vocals, and how 'Rainroom' just starts off strong and desperate. 'Brave' is sort of like that, too.

Don't really care for the intro to 'Distrust', even though I love that song. It seems to kind of drag until the vocals come in. I love the intro to 'Stalemate', though. Not sure how to describe the mood I think it has... almost defiant or aggressive... determined, that's it. Determined. But, of course, still sad.

Love the intro to 'Inside the City of Glass'. So ominous.

Hmm... I guess that's enough.

Erm, let me think. Likes, more specifically, favourites:

Gateways of Bereavement
Funeral Wedding
Scarlet Heavens
Brave
Endtime
Nowhere
Saw You Drown
Gone (the feedback in the background is agonizingly effective)
I'm Nothing
(Had to) Leave
Right Into the Bliss
Dispossession
Chrome
Teargas
Tonight's Music
(I might very well say that any of the above 4 could be the best, just wow)
Ghost of the Sun
Wealth
Evidence
Leaders
Deliberation

All of those open really really well.

Criminals

... though the lyrics are pretty damn weak I must say ('It's not like I owe him money....')

Jonas' voice sounds like butta on that one. The opening showcases that for me
