Use streambox vcr. It downloads just fine. Also, be sure "always use HTTP protocol for downloading - mms streams" at the "connection" panel in the settings bar is clicked.

i got the entire thing... i just pasted the original mms link and made sure under the connection tab for the new item that both check boxes for pnm and mms over http are selected and selected my connection speed... *shrugs* i came to 134mb
