I was at a minor league game 2 years ago and the coach threw a chair out in the middle of the field and started kicking dirt at the ump. I was laughing so hard. What is it with kicking dirt at the ump? If I was an ump, I would probably make them even more mad because I would be laughing while they were kicking dirt on my shoes. I know it is supposed to be super disrespectful, but to me, it isn't. It's just funny.
Minor league games are the best. There are about 6 teams in the area, and I try to make it to one every once in a while. We always pick one random guy on the roster to cheer insanely for, no matter how good he is.

We have the "Lansing Lugnuts" for my local team. They are fun to watch and I usually go to at least 4 or 5 games a year. They have a "thirsty thursday's" promotion here. It kicks ass because you can get a 20oz beer for two bucks and a plate of wings for 2 bucks

Purely awesome man. He did everything, but touch the ump..which would have gotten him many more days of suspension. I would have liked to actually see the play, but I'm sure he is out. Yeah I wish my coaches got that into my games.
