Greenbacks vs Vintage 30 (Clip Inside)

I like the greenback alot better in this example, and i never have heard the v30 sound like that before.

I use both myself.

Yeah, I'm surprised by how the V30MF sounded in this clip. Not to say it sounds bad, but I never thought a V30 would sound smoother than a Greenback. It sounds kinda scoopy almost like a K100. I think the Greenback fits this clip better.

Was this your 1960TV cab with the GB's?

Alright. In a good or in a bad way? Cab is a MF280 with Vintage 30Mf. I don't know if it has something to do about it?

I don`t like your clip of your MF v30`s, not that you did something wrong, its all about taste.

I would try all the speakers etc.

I don`t know, i build my own big ass cabinet with v30`s .

Here is a clip of mine :

I like clear and punchy tone, you get the idea :)

Thanks, guys!

I think they scooped the MF a bit. Yes, exactly!

Did you ever put a mic in front of it?

Here's another clip of the same sample. Greenies on the left and the Vintage 30Mf on the right. The guitars are a bit louder now (propably a bit too loud), but still totally raw.
