Anyone able to transcribe this link on the website ??? Most have options to read in English, but this one doesn't seem to. Either way they seem to be saying the record shreds!

I'm latino and I would, but, ahhhh, fuck it. too much work and I can only speak and understand spanish but transcribing that thing would take me ages. sorry

We've just read it and transcribed it for ourselves. I'll try and give you the gist of it. Basically it talked about Anthrax being the only of the Big 4 bands that kept it real. That their kicking out of Joey and Dan are proof of that or something. Its also says that SOWN was kind of a sellout but still rocked because of Bush and it said that Stomp and V8 were weak. Then it says that although WCFYA returns back to their roots in full fury, it can appeal to anyone that's into rock in general. Then it says at the end that hopefully it'll get heard and become a hit. Then it says that if it does become a hit, hopefully Thrax won't let it all go to their heads and turn into pussies like Metallica. That's all.

SoWN had a Soundgarden/AIC type feel to it, and was a definite departure from thrash, and Charlie made a conscience decision to avoid double bass on that one (he even thought about taking a single bass kit out on the road for that tour !!!!!) That is why some consider it a sell out. Personnaly I don't. I don't understand why people hate Stomp though. It may be a little one dimensional, but it is still heavy as hell! Vol. 8, I guess it is kind of a clusterfuck in hindsight, but it was raw, and in the rawness was some fury, and some very emotional songs. Bottom line is that this new one is the best of the best I guess.

That transcription that the other guy made in the other page is very good although I'll have to say that you can't really take it word for word because different words have different meaning in other languages. Anyone who's ever studied a foreign language should know that you can't translate everything literally. I wouldn't say that they thought SOWN was a sell out but it mention something along the line of commercial success and it being deliberate.
