No, just a bit eq and a master compressor to make it loud. Thanks!

I didn't like the 606 (too grainy for me) but liked the md409 in the old days, if i remember correctly Maybe i should give the 906 a try. How does it compare to the 606 ?

Never used a 606! In my instance, the 906 makes it a lot less boxy sounding for some reason! Maybe because it doesn't have a mid hump like the 57

i also own a grossmann iso 112 and much prefer the 906 over the sm57 with it
