Hi
I have been reading through this forum for a while, but i just registered my account. And i have a question for you all that i have been researching for for ages and asked about in many forums without luck. So here it is:
I use cubase 6.5 and line6 UX2 on a PC
I will use the usual 100% L/R mono rhythm metal guitar tracks as an example, but i believe it is relevant for all kind of tracks, in my case at least.
The problem is that when i send those mono rhythm tracks to a stereo group track, the panning of those individual tracks gets screwed up so that the sound also comes out of the other speaker, but not as loud as on the original speaker.
This is the case with or without inserts of any kind on the group track.
As far as i have learned the individual panning on mono tracks should not be affected when it is sent to a stereo group track.
Any thoughts are appreciated
