The tone may be good in a context that isn't this song. Honestly, I think the guitar tones from the original just needed that complete lack of mids to sound good in the context of that mix.

Personally, it just sounds like the bugera has a reso preset of 5, like a permanent 5.

Most of you guys use the 5150 like that so it's not too bad

i hoped to ear the harley benton 2x12 recorded (ERMZzzzz ).... as for the resonance i think i saw a post from someone (jerryP of fjamods) that said the hole circuit is a exact copy of the 5150 minus the resonance that is at a fixed point. I think almost everyone tends to use it past 1clock if not maxed!!
So, a mod would be a improvement for sure
