Guess the chain (guitarsounds)

Hmm, I was gonna guess that you used your T75-loaded Marshall cab for this, but then it occurred to me that it could still be your Recto cab and a combination of other mics (other than a 57) mixed in as well as unusual amp/settings choice(s) that make it sound a bit different than normal. Still gonna say 80% sure it's the Marshall though :D

And actually, the biggest giveaway that it's the Marshall is that the fizz is lower down in the spectrum (and thus less annoying IMO) compared to V30 fizz, which admittedly is an advantage of T75's, but I still prefer the fullness of V30s vs. the hollowness (IMO) of T75's, and the fizz I can mostly live with (though it depends on the amp too of course :D)

ON THE OTHER HAND, for standard-tuned stuff (especially 80's  ), I find I often prefer the T75's, as standard-tuned guitars to me are just really wimpy sounding, and need the aggressive scoopage of T75's to have any balls :D Sorry for triple-posting, I've just been thinking a lot about these things recently, and haven't had an opportunity to air them until now

This tone is SICK Lasse.

Every time I find me telling myself I much prefer my Stiletto cab to my Marshall cab, I plug my recto into my MArshall cab and let it rip, and it just gives me such a wicked sound. I love the thing, even though the type of tones I go for with my band aren't really what I'd consider to be 'old school', it just has the fizz in the right place to be able to still sound scoopy and raw, while still cutting through a great deal.

Now........just airing a thought here but maybe...........
Mic up a marshall cab with T75s and a mesa with V30s and blend the two
For example, high mids and higher from the marshall and everything below that from the mesa.
