yeah, recording for me is a real pain sometimes cuz Cubase doesn't always cooperate with my pod...so I have to restart my computer like 5 times until it works =/

You have a full version of Cubase?? Could you send me the registration serial code via private message? I was actually considering uninstalling Reaper and Cool Edit Pro today and installing Cubase.

technically, it's the "try before you buy" H2O version. But yeah, with the dongle that I have it works like a full version...so I need to figure out where I put that dongle in my computer. Everything is a bit unorganized cuz I had to transfer this cubase from my old lap top to this newer one. I'll PM you once I find it.

What's a "dongle"? Sounds dirty But yeah, if you are able to find a valid registration key (I'm a little wary of those sites that make you download a file to get a cracked registration key), send a pm my way.

Cubase is only a DAW, so that isn't a factor that changes the tone. It does however enable you to use various plugins that other DAWS cannot. It's more professional.

I also want it because I want to achieve this guy's tone, using Revalver III and the plugins he recommended ...

Yeah, big time. It's the effect on the Korg. I changed the cab settings to something different but kept everything else the same and even turned the mater volume down and it always does that. I didn't really care so I left it like it.

speaking of clipping the signal, what does it mean when the word "clip" flashes on the upper right hand corner of the display on my pod? (I know you guys don't all have pods, but I'm basically asking what this "clip" thing means)
