Guess the song!

Neil: This ranges from 1976 to 2004 (I think that's the latest release included) stopping quite often in between, so metal sucked until the beginning of 2005 or what?

Nah, not as a whole. The first bands who figured out how to make non-sucky metal probably appeared around the early/mid 80s or so. But it took a long, long time for news of their achievements to filter on down through the metal world. "Whoa, dude, check it out, this says we don't have to suck anymore!" Apparently some of the especially dim-witted bands are *still* trying to decipher the memo though.

But c'mon, you're being rather disingenuous with your 1976-2004 claim anyhow. None of the answered ones so far seemed to be after 1989 (which was 18 years ago!), and metal-archives lists the "2004" band's genre as "80's Black Metal". ha!

I'm not gonna spoil stuff by listing what came out when right now, but I will once this is all done. In short: Your opinion is stupid and your claim is false, but yes, most of the songs in this little game were written and recorded before 1990.

From the clue, I'm guessing Repugnant. I couldn't guess the song. I haven't heard them forever. Since it is an ep, I could look up the 3 to 5 songs and guess the ones that are not the Celtic Frost cover. :)
