I'm looking at this Washburn guitar and i'm probably going to get it, only problem is it doesn't have any fret markings apart from an X at where the 12th fret is and so what im asking is, is it hard to play without fret markings, i just tested myself playing on my brothers acoustic which has no fret markings and it wasn't hard really. Second thing is it has EMG's but the 85 is in the neck and the 81 is in the bridge, shall i leave it or get it changed round because the 85 gives a more beefy low end than the 81, will it cost much to switch them around since i don't want to do it myself because i will fuck it up lol

Washburn X50 Pro-FE
Trans black
Flamed maple top
Mahogany body
Set neck with rosewood fingerboard
Tune-o-matic bridge with strings thru body
EMG 81 and 85 pickups.

Didn't you just answer your own question?

I'll be fine with it. When i was practising with my brother's acoustic the only problem i had was finding the 12th fret sometimes, but there is an X on this Washburn where the 12th fret is so it shouldn't be a problem.

all you have to do is take off the strings and unplug the emgs from the wiring harness, they have the quick connect setup for a reason, it wont cost you a cent.
