Does anyone know of any vst taht I can use as a capo for realtime playing? I just want it for playing, not for tracking and I am sick of transposing songs when I use my capo (my guitar is tuned to B standard but I often play songs in C, D, etc)

Seriously?
Think about it... any pitch changing plugs can be a capo, they won't sound great but they'll work. All you have to do is move it by semitones to change it for guitar frets.

Yeah, I know, but most pitch-shifters can't be used realtime, at least not without huge latency. That's why I asked for something that can work as a capo, which would be the same as a real-time pitch shifter.

Capo's are cheap as dirt. Get one. You could also do pitch shifting with a digitech whammy pedal for real time processing. But it still doesn't sound as good as using a capo.

Yeah the digitech whammy can sound pretty digital and not very convincing at times. I always try it for awhile and then end up putting it back on the shelf to collect dust for another year. You can get a Kyser Capo for like 15 bucks, it's probably the cheapest/easiest option.

anytime i feel like changing key of the open tuning on my guitar without tuning or using a capo (which in least efficient with a tremolo system), i just use one of Reaper's pitch shifter, and it works great for me putting it very first in the chain and minimizing window size a little.
