I have had a TKL rectangular guitar case for about 8 or 9 years. I just took it on a flight, and the case got busted up on the flight, with wood cracking on the bottom short side. I believe I am going to be reimbursed for a new case, so I need advice.
I need a case for a Schecter C-1 Blackjack. This is a strat-style body. I suspect rectangular cases have more room inside for accessories than body-shaped cases, or am I wrong on that? Should I be looking into something more heavy duty to withstand flights? Please educate me on guitar cases.
