Guitar Fuzz

I am having problems with my guitar tone.

I am using Cali Diamond Plate > Treadplate cab > Condenser Mic.....yeah yeah generic but I don't care, it sounds nice.

The connection is:

Guitar > Patch cord > UX1 interface > Podfarm > Daw

But for some reason I am getting this fuzz sound that I can't get rid of. I have this clip.....the first half is played without any alterations of EQ, then the second half is a little processed, -4k, +7k for brightness, but still I am getting this fuzzing sound that sounds muddy and not pushy enough.

Need help!

Bring the treble on the cali down, and maybe take off a little drive from the amp as well.

also use a noise gate if you aren't already
