I have a really old old old Zoom 9002. I only use it for the ring modulator, but it's pretty cool if you're just looking to jam with some headphones, you can get em now for about $40 bucks probably.
I've got a Zoom GFX-8 that's pretty decent. It has alot of different distortion sounds as well as effects. It also has an amp simulator, which is pretty cool. I've noticed that it's best when playing out or playing really loud.
The last effects processor you will EVER need. Around $400 on ebay, it'll smoke a Lexicon in FX and patch change speed, and compares to Evantide, except the pitch shifter isn't intelligent...
I had been thinking about a GNX·3 from Digitech... but I can`t afford it right now,...
I was thinking about a smaller one a RP300 (or RP200) also from Digitech... What do you think about it, does anyone owe one of those?
Check out the Boss GT-6 Effects processor like the other guy stated before. Very nice, has everything you need, any effects youw ant, volume pedal/wah. It's what i'm using until i get my rack up.
