Is there anyone out there (including you Dan! HA!) that has guitar tablature for Edge Of Sanity's "The Masque" or any/all of the first 3 songs off Dan Swano's "Moontower" (Sun Of The Night, Patchworks, Uncreation). I am an average guitarist that is good at following/playing tablature, but I am not gifted enough yet to write it out myself. This would be for self study only. Any help would be greatly appreciated!:D

I have some parts of Uncreation done, but have been lazy and haven't worked on it in a few months.....I need to finish the solo.....pitchspork@mindspring.com

Hmmm, I just went and listened to 'The Masque' and it doesn't sound too hard to figure out. If noone else knows it already, I could take a look at it- do you know any of it already? (no point figuring out something you already know!).

I have not attempted writing the tablature out for "The Masque". My ear is getting pretty good at noticing when other people tab songs incorrectly, but I am not skilled enough to write out the tabs myself. However, I am pretty good at following/playing tabs that I have downloaded and such. Your help would be appreciated I you have time to write out the tabs for the song. Just let me know what you think. Keep It Heavy!:headbang:

*sigh*
Ok, I'll get onto it ;) :)

May take a couple of days (not to figure out!! Should only take 30 minutes to do that, but more time for me to get around to doing it and tabbing it out ;)). I'll post parts as I do them......

Oh, and I'll do it using the tuning EOS does (which I think is B?). If you want me transpose it so you can play it in B, but still tuned to E, I can do that instead, just say, but for now I'll do it properly.

Ok, here it is. I know I said a few days, but hey, I got motivated :D (it's actually a REALLY cool song to play along with! :headbang: ). Hopefully this is clear enough, any questions, just ask (PM me if this thread gets buried, otherwise post here :))
Some of the chords get strummed and/or speed picked, I didn't write out the chords more than once where this happens, so you'll have to figure out where that happens (hey, nothing's for free these days ;)). If you want to play along with the CD, but with your guitar still tuned to E, add 2 to each number, and add a line at the bottom of each stave (and throw in some inversions to flesh it out). But hey, it's a good excuse to tune your guitar to something different for a change.

THE MASQUE

Note: Guitar should be tuned to B instead of E.
Spacing of notes is only a rough approximation of rhythm.

Here it is again in a text file, some of the formatting gets screwed up when I post it here . I did edit it so it looks ok, but to avoid confusion, here's the original as well.

If you're using notepad to view it, make sure word wrap is off.

Man! You rock YDG!!!!! I know what I'll be playing tonight! I'll be sure to return the favor to you once I get good enough to write things out myself. Thanks for setting aside time to write out the tab! Keep It Heavy!:headbang:
