guitar tone - annoying or brutal? groove metal riff

working on a new riff, kind of in the style of lamb of god and other groove metal. don't worry too much on the mixing, the only thing i've really focused on as of now is the guitar tone, so i'd love to get some feedback on that, and the riff in general.
