Mix in progress, would love some criticism

I'm re-recording a song I was wrote a long while back and finished tracking rhythm and bass parts, but still need to work lead parts. I spent some time working on the mix and liked the guitar and drum tone I got, I would love some criticism on how the mix sounds so far.

They are no bass ? Cymbals are too loud, turn down a little, The mix is good but there is too much treble. =)

I think it sounds really good man. Maybe try to bring out more of the body of the guitars and drop the cymbals a bit. Other than that I like it.

@FailsafeRecords: hmm, i thought the bass was pretty present in the mix but I guess i'm hearing it differently. would you say it's a volume issue or how it's mixed?
@aheadofmetal: thanks man! yeah, I can definitely hear the cymbals being a little too bright/present in the mix. are you referring to boosting the mids of the guitar?
