Sooo.
I have started to build up my home studio because i love mixing and recording.
But i'm struggling to get a good guitar tone. I'm kinda picky whit the quality.

(I would love to get that heavy metalcore tone like Asking Alexandrias album Reckless and Relentless. But i know that's impossible to get with computer amps. And with my experience)

But one sound that I really would like to approach is Texas is July's guitar sound on the One Reality album ''http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIyK-cX6F1g''
But i'm only getting a kinda shabby tone, i'm very picky to get the right tone before i allow bands to come record and get their EPs or whatever mixed.

What I use:
DAW: Cockos Reaper and FL Studio
Guitars: Pod Farm and Guitar Rig for guitars but also a lots of stand alone vsts.
Drums: Superior Drummer(Cymbals mostly) and Addictive(Snare).
I've got the Steven Slate Kick 10 for the kick.

Ive got a ESP LTD H-1001FM stbc with emg 81/85 pickups.
For bass i use the Cakewalk Bass (MIDI)

Here's one example there i've been trying to get the Texas in July tone but i'm not satisfied. (Ignore the crappy solo in the end, i'm not a guitarist.)

For the guitar tone i've used:
TSE 808 > TSE x50 > KeFIR > ReaEQ(Reapers EQ)
Settings:

The question is, what can i do to get closer Texas in Julys sound?
Would like to get the tone thicker.
Hope it's enough information!
