Guitar tone... not HiFi enough?

Hey guys,

I had a go at Killswitch's My Curse with some help from stems.

Looking for feedback on the guitar tone guys...
The guitars sound live-ey to me... how can i improve them?

guitars are way too loud and lack low+high end - they are also a lot of honky mids. did you mix after a reference? if not, that is always a good starting point! hope it helps

sounds like whoever tracked this just put one rhythm guitar over the original song with an alternative vocal track. anyways. try pulling some mids out and work from there.
