So I'm getting quite sick of the harshness in my guitar tones and recordings and have started to try make some new tones.
For this attempt I used As Blood Runs Black "In Dying Days" as a reference and sculpted my guitar tone around it.

I didnt try match bass tone or drum sounds purely just guitar but I have a half decent bass sitting in there.
very little eq done to this just high pass and low pass filters and 2 little notches on around 2k and another around 5-6k(at least thats where I think they are)
which do you think is better and why?
any tips and suggestions are welcome
