fantastic strings, surprisingly enough, since it's really hard to beat that price.

I use their seven string 10s. I've been using them since November, and I finally broke one at the end of April. Good tone - I swear they're D'Addarios, they sound just like them - and killer price.

I user GHS TNT Boomers .10 gauge and sometimes I grab the Dean Markley Blue Steel .10 gauge.

I liked the Blue Steel bass strings too.. i dont remember what gauge i used.

XLR is cheap and nice, they have a wide variation of gauges and tones for any specific style. I personally like the very bright strings they make.
GHS Boomers are dependable and very versatile.
I'll be trying Dean Markly Blue Steels soon, so I'll tell you about those when I get them.

D'Addario 13s. (tuned to D) On my Seven string I use 12s plus an .80 for the low Bb

DR LO-RIDER Medium-Lite. I used to string my 5 with the Medium-130 set, but I found I dislike playing 5 string basses.

I use 11-56 for the 7 string, 9-42 and heavy top skinny bottom 52-10.
Im still on the prowel for new brands to try out but I am fond of Ernie Balls , Elixers and GHS Boomers. But one brand I cannot get away with is Rotosound!
