The reason Zakks signature set comes with a .68 is because he plays in fuckin Drop-A on occasion in BLS. That has little-to-nothing to do with what he does in Ozzy.

I'm sorry, a .52 in E is just fucking ridiculous unless you're on an acoustic and need the projection; otherwise it's just compensating for a small peen IMO!

11-52 or 10-52 on a 24.75 scale guitar is just fine, it does not feel too thick at all. Just more sustain and mids compared to .46
