i agree, although over time, labrie will grow on you same as mike, i mean i love DT and i LOVE opeth pretty much everything about both bands, well the latter dreamtheater stuff is MUCH MUCH better than their earlier stuff

I like LaBrie a lot in The Great Debate, Lifting Shadows..and others. He has an amazing voice, he just sings too high a lot of the time. If he would stop reaching and sing more like Russ Allen from Symph X, I think DT would be perfect. But nontheless, all members are amazing virtuoso musicians.

I Personally think James' vocals have gone downhill a bit, They were at their peak on Images and Words and Awake (even Change of Seasons) and then his voice beacme a bit shaky on each following release.
It is very noticeable in their live footage, he can't hit the high notes like he used to!
