Yeah but being a progressive band. Wouldnt that mean that you must continually progressing to remain progressive? And DT I feel are guilty of that.

yeah well thats an inherent problem within the whole ethos of 'prog', ie it's become little more than just another genre, and doesnt actually live up to its name of being 'progressive'.

Latin, NOT Mexican.
Neither progresses that much. Dark Tranquillity has progressed a thousand times more than both bands put togheter. Death progressed way more than either opeth or dream theater. By the terms most people defend their favorites they only portrait how lacking in "progressiveness" both bands are.
I think the only progressive aspect in Dream Theatre is their technical side, they're worthless emotionally and they lack creativity. imho of course.
