Hail! I'm finally up and running on the board.... i've been reading the Amon Amarth forum since it was on the old website but I haven't had a proper e-mail
account until now, it's been pretty frustrating.
Anyways, Amon is the greatest band in the land in my humble opinion, seen 'em twice (both the San Francisco shows), and I'd kill to see them headline. Johan's voice is the best I've ever heard live, the last show sounded like he wasn't even using the PA, as if he didn't need it. Fred's war drumming (especially with the production on Versus the World) is heavier than a tank division, forget all the speedy, technical drummers that flood the metal scene, Fred crushes them all. And Olli's style is so brilliant, I'm not even going to try and describe it, you guys already know.
But alas! I'm preaching to the converted, and a fridge full of beer awaits me, cheers!
