HAKEN: Affinity

That's fantastic. 1985 was glorious when it was up on youtube. I'm chomping at the bit for my copy to make it to me.
 
My only qualm with this disc is that the pacing feels a little off for me. A bit more uptempo would be sublime perfection. As it stands it's only normal perfection.
 
I have it. It's my first taste of this band. It isn't bad but for some reason I can't tell if I like it. One song, I forget the name, is amazing. I think it's the last song on the album. But I need to give the entire thing more time I guess.
 
Lapse is over the top incredible. This is album of the year so far and I don't see anything outside of Disperse or the new Devin Townsend being a serious threat to taking it down a notch.

Prior to Affinity I could not make it through one of their songs without hitting the stop button...
I cant stop playing this from beginning to end then repeat
