The week of Halloween is usually fun especially when the holiday appears on a weekend. Here in LA, Halloween is usually a time for women to dress like the total sluts that they talk shit about the rest of the year, and some concerts usually roll around worth seeing. In my opinion, Halloween should be as evil as you can get it!

Who will be going to Vegas for Maidens?

I'm thinking of seeing the Oingo Boingo Tribute band at The Galaxy, after all, if you grew up in So Cal, it isn't Halloween without them.

What are all you doing?

I'll be digging grave sized holes in my back lawn to freak the neighbours out! :headbang:
Or dressing like pacman and following burkha wearing women around the town center :D

WOW! Alice Cooper was phenomenal! If you've never seen his show before, it is something indescribable and most likely not what you think. I never seem anything like that. Total genius!

My halloween was fun!! Went to the carnival on Santa Monica blvd with roommates. Here's what I did :D

It was pretty weak for SF, Usually Halloween is THE holiday for this town. for many years the Castro district and the big party with bands and insanity with over 100,000 people crowding the district until a shooting about 3 years ago forced the city to no longer hold the event. people still crowd the area though.
last night I went and saw Turbo Negra an all girl tribute to Turbo negro who I saw play with the maidens about 2 years ago.

Alice Cooper has charisma that carries for miles. I saw him at a huge outdoor show a couple of years ago. He would just raise his arm and one could feel the power that he has. I was standing quite a distance back.

Plus, his young buck guitarists also have a great rock vibe.

This was a very small theater not even close to sold out and it was really like a play. He made a story of many songs from many albums that were unrelated. Like he took songs from various albums and made a concept album/show out of that. He got killed at least 3 times on stage and the band was super tight. I loved the guillotine and the hanging when he sang "I never cry" with a noose around his neck. Even pop songs like 18 and Poison seemed epic and made so much more sense live.

If you haven't seen Alice Cooper, you have not heard the music!
