Halloween

If they make the remake true to the novella, there won't be any Pinhead at all, as that character did not exist in the original story per se. I find it doubtful even Barker would make a Hellraiser movie without the most iconic character from the series, however.

Oh, on it's own, yes, certainly, but though they put pinhead in for more than Hellraiser had him, AND he had that long speech, I felt a little shortchanged for a long time, since I was expecting him throughout the movie. If you DON'T look at it as a Hellraiser movie strictly though, yes, it's a good watch.

Oh yes, a rather fine psychological thriller.

i fucking loved devil's rejects.

The new workprint came out like, a couple days ago. Seems to be of much better quality, and right before final changes to the retail. Or that is what is said, atleast.

I agree rob zombie movies suck major asshole. This one looks pretty good though. I definitely want to go see it.

Clive Barker is the master of horror. The remake of hellraiser is going to slay the original. Someone is making another movie from his book called midnight meat train. Also I asked this a while ago, but did anyone notice the sample from dreaming neon black is taking from lord of illusions?

Ben affleck was the bomb in.. phantasm.. joke. Seriously the end of that movie in the hearse was one of if not the best end of any horror movie. I think they are remaking this movie, which is definitely not cool.

House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects are among my favorite movies. Each had a distinct vibe to it... When I first heard Rob Zombie was remaking Halloween, I thought it was gonna be stupid since there are way too many remakes on the market already. But when I heard he took his own direction with the story, as in showing young Michael Myers, my worries went away. I'm looking forward to seeing this, probably won't see it tomorrow... but definately soon.

I liked The Devils Rejects, I thought it was rather unconventional for those types of movies. But damn was it gory, I wanted to throw up for pretty much the entire movie.

the first half of the movie is all about young Michael and has some seriously disturbing moments, the second half is the story we know, with some artistic license taken liberally throughout, the only thing that bothers me is that RZ keeps putting his girlfriend in every damn movie he makes, her acting ability is better than usual as Michaels mom , but seriously, she needs some acting lessons....oh and yes there's tons of blood!

who cares? she's hot.
