Greets gents, hoping someone might have some experience to share in regards to mixing for three piece metal projects or when there is only a single guitar player.
I have been beating up my search terms, phrases, and conjunctions looking for the right combination to yield some clues and avoid looking like I didn't do my homework. My apologies if its been staring me in the face within a sticky thread, I'd promise a stern facepalm on my-side if that were the case.
For most of the local's I've supported, they have dual guitar so usually I'd give each guitarist two tracks for tone and spread. With the dual guitarists, I am expecting to hear the variations of two guitarists. Those easily fill the void.
-B/C I wasn't sure how to handle it, I had pushed for quad DI tracks during tracking. Figured more on the palette was worthwhile
Any suggestions on how to handle a single guitar scenario?
_much appreciation in advance for the time_
