And you're playin' my #1 album of all time there! Equal #1 anyway, with Vinnie Vincent Invasion self titled heheh. The title track No Respect has one of the best hooks ever written! Davy's hooks sound so moody & mysterious I reckon, hypnotizing!

Great album. One of the best glam albums ever for sure i think. Pity the other Vain albums match the others but some great charazmatic style from D. Vain for sure.
Yeah I'm also a big fan of Move On It, I think the songs are killer and has great hooks, awesome mood... great album. Possibly even my fave album of '94, but they never rocked hard again like they did on No Respect. Well they do on All Those Strangers but I've only heard a bad quality version of that... but some of the songs are so good. Wake Up especially.

Big Deal is a good album too. Russ Dwarf's voice actually reminds me of Davy Vain's sometimes... actually the chorus hook in "Tell Me Please" is a bit Vain-esque.

I'm not sure if they'll be your thing Blitz but I'll upload some anyway maybe tomorrow! Basically it's very melodic sleaze/glam, not melodic as in clean, polished or with keyboards or anything like that coz its actually a very raw album but the hooks are ultra-melodic and moody, it's really all about the hooks that album, very passionate album too. I love it because I just think the songwriting is so strong (and no filler) and the hooks sound so unique, the whole album sounds unique coz rather than the usual "in your face" kinda sleaze attitude most glam bands have, Vain have a kinda dark, moody, sexual, hot & sweaty vibe. Listening to songs like "1000 Degrees" and "Laws Against Love" you can feel the steam coming from them!
