It's funny how every holiday has turned into an excuse to buy kids shit and stuff your face until you can't move. But alas, I think I will go watch the Passion, followed by Dawn of the Dead. They bookend each other so well.

Then I met my sister at church after the ceremony or whatcha-call-it. Maybe one of these days I'll actually attend... maybe.
Then I had dinner with sister and family.
Happy Birthday to Greg's son.

I really wish you could've met Laura and Corey L. I don't think she left the mountains much though. Snowboard freak she is. My dad just had surgery (prostate cancer) and her dad had some problems (he lost feeling in his legs years ago farming) so it put some problems on our trip. Her roommate can only travel as far as Vegas, and she has to return to UC, Lori wants to visit friends in Cali, but doesn't want to drive alone, so I'll be there for the last of the "tour."

Sorry about your dad. Hope they took care of him. And got rid of the cancer.

That's one thing I never understood. Cathlics aren't supposed to eat meat on Fridays yet they can eat fish. The last time I ate fish, I could have sworn it was a type of meat. Oh well. Happy Easter everyone!!

Incidentally a ate calamari and shrimp with my meal, oh, I did throw in a little lamb (sorry). Great place. B.D.'s Mongolian Grill. If you're not familiar with it, check out their site. You can pig out, and do it healthy style. Loads and loads of fish broccoli, carrots, and rice stir fried with some amazing salsa, cooked right in front of you.

Actually the health of our fathers might force a complete re-routing, and I may just meet her in St. Louis or Kansas City and drive back from there to Ohio. I've got a host of cool things to do in Ohio. Whatever money we DON'T spend goes toward next years adventure in Amsterdam. And I will be back in Denver to hang out with you Tad. You can bet your ass. I love that town.

My dad is recovering 100%.
Her dad (sorry skorn, she is a real girl, not a blow up doll) is ok too, see, he fucked his legs up in a tractor accident and lost some nerve endings, and being a farmer, sometimes a pig will bite, or an insect, whatever, and he doesn't fucking feel it! Then he gets back to the house, takes a shower, and sees that his leg is black and green He didn't tell her, because he didn't want to upset her, but once she heard she wanted to come back ASAP. I work with her uncle (his brother) and he is fine. He'll be back in action soon, as it is planting season. Tad: when life throws you a lemon, make lemonade WITH LOTS OF GREY GOOSE!!!

WOW, sorry to hear that TD hope everything turns out ok.My sister just got out of the hospital (Wensday) to get this infection out her throat which she could not hear out of her right ear. It's wasn't cancer or anything but gave my family a good scare. She is doing well though besides the big scar on her right side of her ear down to the bottom of her throat due to cutting her open.

Cool! Bass Fellow will be the next person from the board to get the privilege of hanging out with Super Dave Tatman, as we will be fishing, boating, drinking and chilling about a stones throw away from Toledo in June and August. I can't wait to hang with the mighty Bass Fellow. He has an apartment that overlooks the Toledo Mud-Hens stadium! Klinger would be soooooo proud!

Thanks for the kind words. It was mellow Easter. I finalized an itinerary for a 50 foot high ropes adventure course I'm taking my student council on on Thursday (fucking expensive!!) Then went to the chiropractor. Hung out in C-Bus Friday. Ate well and drank a little. Saturday I cooked since dad's laid up and mom can't cook everything, then I picked up my loser friends from the various bars because I was the sober one. Hung out with the family today, played video games, watched hoops, etc. Tomorrow it's off to the great yander.......
