Merry X-mas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Saturnalia, and Happy New Year to all on this board.

Its been a fun--for me--and enlightening year on this philosopher forum. Hopefully next year will be as fruitful. And, no matter what one celebrates or believes in, I hope we all somehow get through this commercial holiday season with ourselves and our bank accounts in check, so we may continue our exploration of knowledge and the unknown together.

Dear speed, et al,

I neither celebrate, nor believe in, anything, here, but I do wish that all of you have, one way or another, a worthwhile Christmas.

The beast slouches toward Bethlehem not to be born, but to die
To collapse in the snow
The dew of its eyes, frozen
Before the beslicked babe cast out into the trough
By a mother harried beyond all expression
And even her damnable, knowing little smile
This time fails her
And she, too, freezes in awe and warmth inexplicable
Her cuckolded husband, joyous of the fact
His Adam's apple a jewel incomparable
Stuck in his useless throat
The star shines down from the cold Hell above
To the warm one below
And the beast knows peace
At last.

A Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to everyone here. My holiday's come and gone already (Hannukah), but taht doesn't mean that I can't wish everyone a Merry Christmas or what not. :)
