Sounds way too clean (drums especially) for d-beat stuff.

The kick really shouldn't be this clicky. Maybe try something with less click and more boom and body.

Actually, that might not be the best description. Maybe "lo-fi" would be better.

It's samples so what do you expect really? When I get the drums tracked it'll sound way better. Don't think it sounds too clean at all, it's punchy but clean by ballou standards. Again, with samples it's difficult to make midi feel really natural!
