Has anybody else in the US received their pre-order early?

I already asked this to the Threshold Facebook page, but I wanted to also hear from the fans. I read on this board that someone bought March of Progress early in a European store; I pre-ordered the album September 4 late at night and, though the release date is the 11th, have received it today, the 7th. I don't know if this has happened to anybody else, as although receiving items about one day before their release date doesn't seem uncommon, this seems altogether too soon! I'm just about finishing the album right now while posting; my opinions on varying parts of it have been offered elsewhere, and I will absolutely need further listening to clarify my exact opinion.

It's quite normal, I've ordered from NB and gotten albums 10 days before the official release date.

So I've been told since, though I'm unsure why this happens sometimes. The new Dream Theater and Redemption discs came to my house on release date.
