They are, and they are hillarious. There best song is "Masturbating on the Unholy Inverted Tracks of the Grim and Frostbitten Necrobobsledders".

These are all Anal Cunt related, right? I know Seth Putnam was in at least three of the bands here. The only one I've actually heard is INMF...who are pretty much a black metal version of AC. Nice song-titles, shame about the music. Siege, I only know from the medley on Anal Cunt's "Morbid Florist" album...sounded pretty decent. I've heard of all the others, but never actually heard their music.

Siege is actually a very serious band. I have their Drop Dead album, and it's very great early grindcore.

Not all of them are joke bands. As SlaughterofSoul pointed out, Seige is a serious band.

I know of Post Mortem from the late 80's early 90's if that's the same project you're thinking of. Their first album, Coroner's Office, and subsequent ep The Missing Link where fairly good thrash but the later releases were really fucking weird and just plain lame.
