I'm not sure what to think, I never thought a movie with just four characters in a small apartment would keep me engaged until the stupid ending. Jodie Foster has gotten really good at yelling until the veins in her forehead bulge out.

I saw it. Not bad, great acting - but the ending was really just one huge wtf moment.

If you want something similar, but infinitely better, check out The Sunset Limited -

When I saw the trailer for Carnage my immediate thought was of this film, which I agree was great. Cormac McCarthy knows how to flesh out the concepts of misery and hopelessness like no one else; Tommy Lee Jones' ending monologue resonated to my core. Highly recommended, it's probably best to be viewed alone to optimize and make relevant the inner conflict between optimist and pessimist.

Also.

Hah.. Have to admit, I was on the verge right at the end, but felt way too manly-stubborn for that nonsense.:b

Lot o good films this year. Drive was awesome.

I was weeping. Intense.

I can't believe just how intense this movie really was. I already knew what the premise was going in and just assumed it was going to be another "Rocky" movie with a twist...but man was this movie really good. I wonder if this is how the people that saw Rocky when it was brand new felt while watching it.
