Has anyone seen Nevermore with Savatage?

Just saw them...

opened with...

- the engines of hate

then onto...

- this sacrament
- narcosynthesis
- the river dragon has come
- the heart collector/dead heart in a dead world
- next in line
- inside four walls

closed with...

- the sound of silence

that should be the whole list

Nevermore Setlist 9/12/2001

(Intro)-Rape Me, Niravana cover, Warrel singing jokingly
1. Engines Of Hate
2. This Sacrament
3. The River Dragon Has Come
4. Narcosynthesis
5. The Heart Collector
6. Inside Four Walls
7. Next In Line
8. Dead Heart In A Dead World
9. The Sounds Of Silence

This will be the 4th time I have seen them on this tour. I have no idea why they insist on playing the "Sound of Silence". I think it's a very good song. But I would prefer something off of "Dreaming".

hey vylance, I'm guessing you were at the Akron show? Luckily I made it there, awesome show of course. I had to leave a couple songs into Savatage's set, but when I left Warrel was outside, so I got to talk to him for a few minutes, which was cool. Overall a fuckin awesome night.

Vylance I was yelling for you and everyone looked at me like I was nuts!!! I thought I heard Fault and PGM from DNB or was I remembering Cleveland cause I was alittle intoxicated (hee hee) I thought I heard that anyway. I was too busy taking pictures to pay attention to the set list.

I had a great time, and Matt and I got to talk to each of the guys as we hadn't seen them in quite a while.

I took quite a few dig pix, maybe Wendy will post them here.

I saw them in Springfield, VA last night and this was the set:

1. Intro-Politics of Ecstasy (about 30 seconds worth)
2. Engines of Hate
3. This Sacrament
4. The River Dragon Has Come
5. Narcosynthesis
6. The Heart Collector
7. Beyond Within
8. Inside Four Walls
9. Next In Line
10. Dead Heart in a Dead World
11. We Disintegrate

JODY!!!!

I did hear someone yelling my name, vaguely (sp?) though... It sounded like it, but I wasn't sure. I heard it right after Aftershok played... before Nevermore started. I was all looking around and shit.

Did you happen to see the kid with the arm crutches and what-have-you? I was with that kid, if you happened to see me. There was also another kid with us. I had on a Nevermore shirt.

Yes I did see that person, but I didn't see you, oh well. Yes it was after Aftershock that I was yelling it, but then I said F it cause everyone was looking at me funny. ha ha

I did see them at the HOB in LA sept.10th.Before the show I did meet Warrel and Jim and asked them if they could add a real old song since they were only supposed to play newer songs. And Warrel said he would play an old song just for tonight. And they did play "White rabit".And judging to the other setlists it really was the only time they played this on this tour.So that was quite cool. The rest of their setlist was the same as mentioned on the other setlists. They didn't play DHIADW though.
Savatage was really good also.Too bad only 150 people or so turned up to see such a world class bill. The place was so empty.
Offcourse the next day they cancelled their gig in Santa Ana due to the terrible events on the eastcoast.I don't know when they started playing again.Did anybody see the gigs after these events???What did Warrel say about it???

I saw them after the whole September 11th fiasco... Warrel spoke not a word of it. Although, Aftershok was WAY too obsessed about the whole issue. It seems their whole setlist had songs in it that dealt with revenge, war, bombs, etc...

Just saw them in Arizona, walked out soon after Savatage started, not interested in them, just there for Nevermore, was really cool, hung out with the band while Savatage was playing, got pictures and got the "Believe in Nothing EP" that I bought at the show signed. All of those guys fucking rock.
noc

Saw them the next day, Warrel did mention something about Sept. 11
"The people that did that yesterday are the NEXT IN LINE TO DIE"
