the band that Henrik Ohlsson (ex: Theory In Practice, Mutant) started from scratch - they play speed/american thrash something really interesting.
their debut album will be released soon, and they just changed their name!

here is from Henrik himself:
" want to announce that Thrawn changes the bandname to Altered Aeon for two reasons:

1. due to rights issues
2. the band wants a name that is more aligned with the lyrical concepts

We wanted to do this before we release our debut album "Dispiritism", so it is now or never. The release date we have been given is 14th of June, more news will be available on www.black-lotus-recs.com soon. The album will sound a thousand times better than the demo, and that is the plain truth. There are things on this album that will blow you away, no matter who you are.

Spread the word! When people are looking for this band, Altered Aeon is the name to look for - nothing else! "

Listening to one of the demo tracks now, very interesting modern thrash...and Altered Aeon is a much better name IMO.
