heaviest mix ive ever done so far

still working on it now, i think the guitars are brutal as shit right now, i still have to do a bit to the drums and the ambient guitars. were tracking vocals and synth for it now then i get to finishing mixing this badboy

might be a little heavy handed on the master but its in progress and not a final master


any opinions on what i got so far ???

i gotta work on the drums still i am not happy at all with them so far, the guitars on the other hand!!!!

bump i updated the mix a bit more and put the whole song up this time

might be a bit on the slammed side im pretty happy with it so far i still ahve alot of work to do to it, live drums/editing and the vocals being finished ...

we are recording live drums on it this week to replace the programming .

Did you use any samples for the drums?

so far its all sampled with the overhead track from dkfh2.and i sample replaced everything else with samples replaced with my samples im working on. I tried to automate some feel to it but gave up to have a real drummer play it and add some much needed feel to the track over the programmed drums...

The drums sound too sampled... The guitars are TOO scooped!! They sound very sterile, they don't have that in your face punch. The cymbals sound out of the mix... It sounds like you have TWO different sets of drums... Because sometimes some double bass parts are quiet as fuck and then the single kik comes punching in your face... It's all too reverby for my taste too. Also, did you use some extreme stereo widening plugins? Keep at it and you'll get there!!!
