Heavy Metal apparel... where can a guy find some?

Well, I guess it's a bit more specific than just any apparel...

I want to find a baseball cap that's metal related. Either a band I like (which I know none of you can read my mind... I hope), or something like a Heavy Metal logo (like the one from the movie/magazine).

I've tried some common places like JSR direct and ebay, and have come up with virtually nothing. There are a slew of bands I like, primarily in the power and melodeath subgenres, so if anybody knows some place that might carry a store of them that'd be great!
Also, I would like to stay away from BLACK... sure I'm a bit of a whiner, but I've had black hats before and dammit it cooks my head in the summer time! It's already like a sauna in all the black shirts

If you can still find them on ebay, there were Steel Dragon hats floating around.... Regor snagged one and it's very \m/. Other than that, I'd say go get a leather ball cap, and get a badass patch sewn onto it. Custom work, baby! One of a kind!

heh. I just started cycling last summer. I've been looking for a cool jersey to wear while cycling as concert t-shirts don't have pockets and don't wick sweat away, and I don't want to get them all grungy with sweat anyway. I found an Iron Maiden Trooper jersey, but the company cancelled production on it. I'm looking for something cool, but not enough metalheads ride bikes to make it worth producing them apparently.

Can't help you with the hat situation either.

Thanks for the tidbit Bryan, I have been constantly (ok, like once or twice a week) perusing ebay, but nothing ever really shows up... I'm sure there is stuff out there! I just don't know how to look for it... is it metal? is it apparel? is it something else? etc... and a lot of the time if it's not some specific band, doing a general search just gives too much completely unrelated crap!

Yippee... I am also looking for non-t-shirt apparel. About 4 years back I found an Iron Maiden Piece of Mind button up dress shirt, it set me back 50$ (on CLEARANCE from 80$ nonetheless), but it's a freakin' sweet shirt!
If I happen to find any more stuff like that I'll be sure to tell you where.

maybe try searching the official band pages... often, they're the only places to find merch like this.

If I were to name particulars, I'd really like to find a cap for Iced Earth or Epica.
I did order an Iced Earth beanie about 2 weeks ago (which hasn't showed up yet ). Well, I've done some custom metal stuff before, just not with clothing... and my uncle does have a custom embroidery shop... I should see if he could make some metal gear
