are you using the palmer just as a load and them feeding the line out (unfiltered) of the palmer to the IR?

actually im filtering with the palmer and blending impulses too maybe thats not good im just testing for now to get different sounds maybe its better to use palmer without impulses and just use eq to fix the tone im going to
experiment more

yep.

you shouldn't use the palmer speaker sim and then add IR.

either use the palmer speaker sim

and/or

blend the tracks with the unfiltered out from the palmer and then add IRs.

that way you get the power amp distortion into the signal before the impulse.
